Meet JESUS BLANCO “JB”

Jesus Blanco (aka “JB”) Is a cinematographer, and producer proficient in Spanish, English, and French. Born in Venezuela and relocating to North Carolina, USA in 1994, JB holds a BA in Foreign Language Teaching with a focus on English from Universidad Pedagogica de Venezuela, and pursued French language studies at Alliance Francaise in Venezuela, Technology Education at Carolina School of Broadcasting, and Miami Dade College in Florida, specializing in Translation-Interpretation and Film Studies.

JB embarked on his acting career in 1985 at “Pedagogico de Caracas,” simultaneously studying foreign languages in Venezuela. He further honed his acting craft by attending Adriana Barraza’s acting school and training with notable coaches like Stewart Solomon at Creative Workshops, Inc and Ruben Morales at Miami Florida Actor Studios. His recent acting credits include roles in “Sonadores,” as Senator Julio, “Blindfold Butterfly” as Dr. Slynder, and Telemundo’s novela “Sed de Venganza” as Father Matias.

JB’s versatility extends to voice acting, where he has collaborated since 1991 with numerous clients in radio, television, and film, lending his voice to acting, commercials, audiobooks, corporate videos, and more.

Beyond his professional pursuits, JB is a passionate storyteller, avid traveler, guitarist, language enthusiast, and enjoys connecting with people worldwide.
